My roommate started ordering freshly a few weeks ago and he recently mentioned that I should try some of the meals. The first meal I tried was the Chicken Cordon Bleu.

The instructions were to heat the tray in the microwave for 3 mins and let it stand for a couple minutes before eating. I plated the food since it is a recommendation from the chefs and I agree that it looks better plated than in the plastic container. The taste was good. I liked how the chicken was tender and the rice and the spinach went well with the chicken. I could taste the lemony flavor, but I wasn’t sure where the Canadian bacon flavor was. The cheese definitely helped make the food more tasty and rich. However, I feel like if this meal was cooked from scratch and not a microwaved meal, it would’ve tasted even better.
For the amount of time needed to prepare, I think that this was a solid meal. The portion size is a bit smaller than I would prefer, mostly since I am still growing. The ingredients and the taste are better than the microwave meals I grew up eating.

If I had a choice to eat this again or make my own meal, I would eat this if I had a time crunch. Otherwise, I would most likely make my own meal where I can control the portion size. The amount of fat and sodium scares me a little bit as well, but from the ingredients, it seems like the fat is mostly from the cheese, milk, and cream.
